The double tube core barrels is versatile and suitable for coring in all hard and soft formations using water flush and/or polymer fluids. Thin walls provide fast penetration, lower bit costs and larger core samples. They conform to the metric standard ISO 3552-1.1992.

Coring buckets are used when conventional augers are less efficient or when combined with conical rock augers for very hard rock drilling. The core barrel is designed with thin cutting edges to maximize penetration while reducing the contact surface area that must be cut and removed.
